Privacy and data protection policy (GDPR)
This document is addressed to you as a customer, contact person, supplier, job applicant or anyone else in contact with LAWET. It describes what personal data we collect about you, why we do so and what rights you have.
1. Data controller
LAWET Security & Development AB is the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. Contact for data protection matters: .
2. What personal data we process
We process personal data that you provide to us directly or that arises in connection with us performing services for you or your organisation. This may include:
- Name, title and contact details (email, phone, address).
- Information about your employer or organisation.
- Information about properties, facilities and objects linked to your assignment.
- Communication and documentation in connection with assignments, quotations and contracts.
- Data required to carry out security vetting or authorisation checks where this follows from law or customer requirements. Security vetting under the Protective Security Act (2018:585) includes record checks in the criminal records register and the suspicion register, as well as information on personal circumstances, finances, family relationships and travel abroad. This data is processed on the basis of a legal obligation and/or consent under Chapter 3, Section 18 of the Protective Security Act and is handled with the highest possible confidentiality.
- Data from job applications, CVs and reference checks during recruitment.
We do not process sensitive personal data (such as health data, political opinions or ethnic origin) unless required by legislation and you have been separately informed of this.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Perform agreed services – to plan, carry out and document assignments we have undertaken. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- Customer communication – to stay in contact with you during and after an assignment. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Quotation and contract – to prepare and manage quotations, contracts and invoices. Legal basis: performance of a contract or taking steps prior to a contract.
- Statutory obligations – to meet requirements in the Bookkeeping Act, the Protective Security Act and other applicable legislation. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Recruitment – to handle job applications and carry out recruitment processes. Legal basis: legitimate interest or consent.
- Security vetting – when the nature of the assignment or customer requirements demand background or authorisation checks. Legal basis: legal obligation or legitimate interest.
4. How long we retain the data
- Customer data linked to contracts and assignments is retained in accordance with the requirements of the Bookkeeping Act, normally seven years from the end of the financial year.
- Data in ongoing communication is retained for as long as the customer relationship is active and a reasonable time thereafter.
- Job applications from applicants who are not hired are normally deleted within six months, unless you have consented to longer storage.
- Data required by protective security legislation is retained according to the specific requirements applicable to the assignment in question.
5. Who we share data with
- With subcontractors and partners who perform parts of an assignment, under confidentiality agreements and with the requirement that they comply with the GDPR.
- With authorities when we are obliged to provide information by law.
- With IT and system suppliers who process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements.
We never sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Transfer outside the EU/EEA
We strive to keep all data processing within the EU/EEA. If data is exceptionally transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is done on the basis of the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another approved safeguard under the GDPR.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we process about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of data when it is no longer needed, unless legal requirements oblige us to retain it.
- Request restriction of the processing in certain situations.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability – obtain your data in a machine-readable format when the processing is based on consent or a contract.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

Quality policy
We deliver what we promise — on time, with the right quality. Quality is not a control function — it is a way of working.
Purpose
The purpose of the quality policy is to establish the overall principles that govern LAWET Security & Development AB's quality work. The policy shall ensure that the operation is conducted in a structured, process-based and customer-oriented manner that creates long-term customer value, high delivery quality and conditions for continual improvement, in accordance with applicable legal requirements, customer requirements, other binding requirements and relevant principles and requirements of ISO 9001.
Scope
The policy applies to all employees, consultants, hired personnel, subcontractors and other persons who perform work for or on behalf of LAWET. It covers all parts of the operation, including sales, engineering, installation, commissioning, service, documentation, technical development, support and follow-up.
Fundamental principles and commitments
LAWET shall deliver security and technology solutions with high quality, clear traceability and long-term customer value. To achieve this, we shall:
- Understand the operation's internal and external context and identify the needs and expectations of relevant stakeholders.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, industry requirements, contracts and customer requirements.
- Work on a process basis with clear roles, responsibilities and authorities.
- Ensure that the right competence, resources, equipment, information and tools are available for every assignment.
- Perform work in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable instructions, engineering designs, manufacturer instructions and documented working methods.
- Establish, monitor and evaluate quality objectives and relevant key metrics.
- Measure, analyse and improve the operation's processes, deliveries and customer experience.
- Make decisions based on facts, analyses, experience and reliable data.
- Identify, assess and manage risks and opportunities.
- Work systematically with nonconformity management, feedback of experience and continual improvement.
- Develop employees' competence and promote knowledge sharing.
- Build and develop long-term relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
Quality shall permeate the entire operation – from first customer contact and needs analysis to execution, documentation, follow-up and long-term management.
Responsibility and follow-up
The Managing Director is responsible for this policy being established, communicated, followed up and kept current. The suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the quality management system are monitored through quality objectives, key metrics, customer feedback, nonconformity management, supplier follow-up, internal audits, risk assessments and management review. The policy is reviewed at least annually or upon changes in the operation, legislation or customer requirements.

Environmental and sustainability policy
We take environmental responsibility in what we do — how we travel, handle waste, choose materials and carry out the assignment.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to establish LAWET's overall principles, commitments and direction for environmental and sustainability work. The policy forms the framework for the company's environmental and sustainability objectives, environmental management system and continual improvement in accordance with applicable legal requirements, other binding requirements and relevant principles and requirements of ISO 14001.
Scope
The policy applies to all employees, consultants, hired personnel, subcontractors and others who perform work for or on behalf of LAWET. It covers the entire operation, including planning, engineering, procurement, installation, service, transport, administration, document management, supplier control and waste management.
Fundamental principles and commitments
The company shall:
- Comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, customer requirements and other binding requirements.
- Identify, assess, document and regularly follow up the operation's environmental aspects, environmental risks, opportunities and significant environmental impact.
- Integrate environmental and sustainability perspectives into the operation's processes, risk assessments, investments, change management and decision-making.
- Protect the environment by preventing pollution and reducing negative environmental impact based on the operation's conditions.
- Use energy, materials, natural resources and other resources in a responsible and efficient manner.
- Prevent waste and promote reuse, recycling and sustainable waste management in line with the waste hierarchy.
- Consider a life-cycle perspective in planning, engineering, procurement, material selection, transport, installation, service, maintenance and decommissioning.
- Promote sustainable procurement and choose products, services and suppliers based on environmental, social and economic aspects.
- Strive to reduce emissions, energy consumption, resource use, transport and climate impact.
- Raise employees' knowledge, awareness and engagement in the environmental and sustainability field.
- Work systematically with continual improvement of environmental performance and the effectiveness of the environmental management system.
Objectives, responsibility and follow-up
The company establishes, documents, monitors and regularly evaluates environmental and sustainability objectives relevant to the operation's significant environmental aspects. The Managing Director is responsible for the policy being established, communicated, followed up and kept current. The policy is reviewed at least annually or upon significant changes in the operation, legislation or identified environmental aspects.
