Whistleblowing

A safe way to speak up about serious wrongdoing.

LAWET wants to make it safe to speak up. If you suspect serious irregularities linked to our operations, you should be able to report them without risking your employment, your assignment or your relationship with us. This channel is open to employees, consultants, suppliers, customers and partners.

What can be reported?

The channel is intended for serious wrongdoing in a work-related context, for example:

  • Bribery, corruption or conflicts of interest.
  • Financial irregularities or fraud.
  • Violations of laws, regulations or permits.
  • Serious work-environment or safety risks.
  • Environmental crime.
  • Serious deficiencies in the handling of privacy and personal data.

This channel is not for personal dissatisfaction, technical faults or quality deviations. Such matters are better handled via our nonconformity report or by contact us direkt.

How to report

Send your report to visselblasning@lawetsecurity.se. Please describe:

  • What has happened or is suspected to have happened.
  • When and where it occurred.
  • Who is involved, if you know.
  • Any supporting documentation for the information.

You choose how much you wish to disclose. If you want to remain anonymous you can omit your contact details — but note that we then cannot get back to you or ask follow-up questions.

Your protections

  • Confidentiality. The information in a report is handled by authorised persons and is not disseminated unnecessarily.
  • Protection against retaliation. Anyone who reports in good faith shall never suffer any repercussions for doing so.
  • Objective handling. Every report is assessed impartially and investigated to the extent required.

What happens next?

If you have provided contact details, we confirm that the report has been received. We then make an initial assessment, investigate if needed and take action. Where possible, we give feedback on how the matter has been handled.

LAWET is currently not covered by the requirement for internal whistleblowing channels in the Act on the Protection of Persons who Report Wrongdoing (2021:890), which applies to organisations with at least 50 employees. We nevertheless offer this channel voluntarily.
